This week's episode is the longest in ABH history because Ant and Tom feel the need to apologise for the torturous opening. This is the first week in ages that technology has let them down but, after some opening jitters from Tom and Ant's refusal to restart the show (for the best given that it's hilarious!) the guys settle into the groove like the seasoned professionals they've become!
Ant brings in some Non-News about a man who went missing in London and was found 24 hours later...in London...where he was supposed to be. Tom talks about a girl beheading her father, voodoo and witchcraft in Papua New Guinea. They discuss celebrity child names after Kanye West and Kim Kardashian reveal their child's name as North. West. Also, more talk of UFO's, this time near their home town.
The majority of the show is spent discussing films. Ant has watched Machete this week and they both talk about their favourite films, actors and directors three weeks after being asked about it by a listener. But the biggest chunk of film discussion is about Man of Steel and what they both think about the biggest blockbuster of the year. Strap yourself in, we're going on a journey!
Just in case you wanted to hear it again, here's the opening music from this week's show. It's an orchestra murdering Richard Strauss's Also Sprach Zarathustra. It just seemed appropriate!
