Anywhere But Here Podcast 88: Man Vs. Nature

This week Ant and Tom discuss what is more devastating; natural disasters or man-made disasters?

Ant looks at natural disasters including floods and earthquakes, the most destructive of which seem to happen in China, including the most destructive of all: The Yellow River floods that killed up to 4 million people in 1931. Tom has a look at how man goes about attempting to destroy the world with chemical plants exploding or dumping waste into rivers, nuclear power plants melting down, like Chernobyl and Fukushima and giant oil spills either from tankers like the Exxon Mobil or oil rig disasters like the Deepwater Horizon oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico 4 years ago.

Who comes out on top in this deadly battle for supremacy? Stay with us to the end where you'll find out!
